We hope everyone is enjoying their summer and has had fun watching the Olympics. The world (of sport) has truly changed when Americans no longer compete to be the best against my fellow Russians but with the Chinese instead. So, with Asia very much in mind right now, we have logically invited the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to host our first post summer breakfast meeting on September 7 (Friday), featuring leading Asia-Pacific region experts as guest speakers.

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer and has had fun watching the Olympics. The world (of sport) has truly changed when Americans no longer compete to be the best against my fellow Russians but with the Chinese instead.

Julia Son - Marketing Manager of the Los Angeles Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), a sourcing and business hub for the Asia-Pacific region. The office helps facilitate international trade for U.S. companies in the Western United States with their business needs in Hong Kong and China using the Hong Kong business platform.

Kerry Bonner –Project Manager, of the Center for International Trade Development. Currently managing the Green Export Enabler Program (GEEP) and assisting small and medium-sized U.S. companies that export their manufactured "green" clean, renewable energy (wind, solar, tidal, geothermal), and environmental products to China. Worked with American, Belgian, British, Danish, French, Dutch, German and Japanese companies.


Mitchell Lamberth - North American Representative Office of Shenzhen (China). In charge of business development and promoting bilateral trade and investments between North America and Shenzhen, focusing on alternative energy, bio-technology, digital media and E-commerce.
