On July 31st at Cross Campus in Santa Monica, the next Mobile LAVA program will explore the digital music landscape today and attempt to shed some light across the next 3-5 year horizon. We have recruited a panel of industry "rockstars" representing the venture, startup, music label, artist, and technology points-of-view who will share their experience and expertise with our growing, innovative local tech and entrepreneur community.

Digital and Mobile Music:  What's Next?

Since Napster's initial release in 1999, the music industry has endured one business disruption after another, and the digital music space continues to evolve to this day.

Now that we are well into the "mobile age" of computing, distribution, and consumption of music; startup entrepreneurs, artists, marketers, music labels, and technology companies are all vying to carve out a place in the new (and largely independent) music space.

On July 31st at Cross Campus in Santa Monica, the next Mobile LAVA program will explore the digital music landscape today and attempt to shed some light across the next 3-5 year horizon.  We have recruited a panel of industry "rockstars" representing the venture, startup, music label, artist, and technology points-of-view who will share their experience and expertise with our growing, innovative local tech and entrepreneur community.
