Think Outside The States
Expansion into international markets is a serious matter for
Southern Californian companies with ambitions of rapid growth. Since the
world has become interconnected, medium-sized businesses and even small
companies can operate in the global marketplace – an opportunity that
was previously only conceivable for large companies with large budgets
and dedicated resources. At the same time, there is a clear shift in the
global investment community as we see rising interest from
international VCs and PE groups seeking to back promising young
companies in the States to diversify their risks.
On September 6h, 2013 Global LAVA presents James R.
Barth - a Senior Fellow at the Milken Institute with his super enlightening
presentation "Coping with the Rapidly Changing Financial and
Regulatory Landscape”. Barth has been quoted in publications
ranging from The New York Times, the Financial Times and The Wall Street
Journal to Time and Newsweek. He recently served as leader of an international team
advising the People's Bank of China
on banking reform and traveled to China,
India, Russia and Egypt
to lecture on various financial topics for the U.S. State Department. We have a
limited seating – register now! Please check the EVENT page
for the details.

other to develop new capacities for their businesses.
